About Us
Heliport was never part of a grand plan — it happened by accident.
After experiencing repeated challenges building his own hangar, founder Jono Garton found himself navigating the complex world of planning, environmental regulations, structural requirements, and specialist aviation considerations firsthand. What began as a personal frustration soon became an unexpected expertise.
As word spread about Jono’s knowledge and practical approach, friends and fellow aviation enthusiasts began asking for help with their own hangar and helipad projects. One project became several, and over time a trusted network of specialists naturally formed around the work.
Today, Heliport brings together a carefully assembled team of experts including biodiversity consultants, noise and environmental specialists, planning professionals, and structural engineers — creating a genuine one-stop solution for private individuals and small businesses looking to develop a helipad.
